(it is not easy. It is the first article of my Ph.D., the fifth article of my research career. Thank you, the editor. I hope this journal will be better and better.)

Another journal, aiming at a higher impact factor, accepts dozens of articles every year, 25% of which are reviews. It is too easy to increase the impact factor, and the current real-time impact factor has exceeded 12. I think that an authoritative organization is necessary to uniformly stipulate that for example, non-review journals should not exceed 10% of review articles and the publication circulation should not be less than 500 articles. In the chemistry category, Angew, JACS, NC, and CC have published more than 2,000 articles in recent years. Only such journal impact factors are trustworthy. For materials journals with high IF, AM and AFM’s publications have exceeded 1,000. Well, others, such as EES, AEM, and Materials Today, have a strict control of the publication circulation and increase the review ratio on purpose to improve IF. I sincerely despise this way to improve IF, and then take advantage of Q1 while accepting a few articles. On the contrary, it is becoming more difficult for the material articles to be published in Q1.

It is a very good journal in China. The journal has a relatively high standard for the quality of the papers, so the impact factor should go up. It is in Q1 according to the new CAS ranking, so I think the journal would soon increase the number of papers published each year. There are so many submissions to this journal. Even though it only accepts less than 100 papers a year, based on my manuscript number I think the number of submissions would be more than 5,000 a year. I’m optimistic about this journal.

The number of articles in this journal is too small. Just look for someone to quote. The impact factor will come up

The impact factor has risen dramatically, the real-time impact factor is close to 7, and it feels a bit illusory~~ but I still hope that the domestic journal will be better and better~~~
