Reviewed 2013-06-24 08:13:00 This journal is still a good journal in the microbiology field, but the impact factor fell below 3.2 in 2013.It is estimated that it was related to a large number of published genome sequencing articles (only one abstract) last year, and half of the more than 1,200 articles in 2012 were such articles.ASM has now set up a new journal, Genome Announcements, to collect such articles, and it is estimated that the number of people who brush such articles will be greatly reduced.
