IEEE TRANSACTIONS ON IMAGE PROCESSING

Submitted in June 2018; first review opinion required a major revision (RQ) in February 2019; revised submission in April 2019; second review opinion (RQ) received in August 2019; revision submitted in October 2019; rejected in the third review in January 2020. It lasted nearly 19 months and was finally rejected. The reviewer and editor gave me two opportunities, but my revision was not as good as the last one, and it was ultimately rejected. While sad, I also expressed admiration for the rigor and seriousness of the journal. Less innovative articles are not recommended to be submitted to this journal. The review cycle is very long, and the rejection will delay a lot of time, which is not worthwhile.
